Prepaid Capital prefers to invest in companies that can benefit from the three types of capital it offers:
• Financial Capital
Prepaid Capital itself invests in the range of $50,000 to $500,000 in start-ups, generally at inception or first stage of external capitalization. Prepaid Capital will consider larger investments on a case-by-case basis, and can lead more substantial rounds through established co-investment relationships.
• Intellectual Capital
Drawing on the extensive experience of Anil D. Aggarwal and Jonathan A. Weiner, Managing Directors of Prepaid Capital, in founding and growing various organizations catering to the network branded prepaid and stored value card industry, Prepaid Capital also provides intellectual capital, offering tremendous subject matter expertise across not only the payments sector but also within many of the markets served by network branded prepaid and stored value cards. This experience and expertise can be brought to bear as members of an advisory board or board of directors, or in other meaningful capacities.
• Relationship Capital
Prepaid Capital can bring the benefit of its vast group of relationships throughout the network branded prepaid and stored value card industry to its portfolio companies in a number of critical ways: from helping build early client relationships to bridging to potential institutional investors, strategic partners, and prospective acquirors.

The ideal investment candidate for Prepaid Capital is a company in the process
of being founded or completing seed funding. Prepaid Capital believes that
great companies are built by great management teams, and places significant
emphasis on investing in companies formed or run by people who are smart,
hardworking, and passionate about prepaid.
